Neria’s PC prayer is answered

An overjoyed Neria Shalomo who has Down’s Syndrome and attends the WIZO community centre in Afula, has received his own computer, courtesy of WIZO.uk.

His delighted mother Mimi wrote to thank Michele Vogel. In this extract from her letter she writes: ‘Before receiving your gift Neria used to raise his hands to the Lord and pray that his father would earn enough to purchase him a computer – and you made his prayer become real. Every time he sits by the computer he is glowing with joy and happiness.

‘In normal life, Neria goes to a regular kindergarten where he mixes with kids of his age. This year in the kindergarten the kids will work on a computer and Neria’s computer at home lets him practise and get used to it. The computer you have donated helps accelerate his physical and mental development. Much health and power to continue with your blessed activity.”
