JC Wizonet

The JC WIZOnet provides an exciting new opportunity for business networking. This dynamic marketing method allows us to make business connections and establish new contacts and share experiences and advice, all whilst enjoying time with like-minded individuals.

Addressing the needs of different audiences within the work place, The JCWIZOnet offers the following opportunities.

• Networking Breakfasts. A 'delicious' and interesting start to the day.

• A programme of evening events. Network whilst enjoying a variety of topics and activites.

• Women only events. After business hours, for those who wish to network and have some fun away from the pressures of work and family.

Whichever option is your preference, there will be a business networking element built into each event.

... and, whilst helping yourself and your business, you will be supporting valuable WIZO vocational training and special needs projects.

Examples of the projects The JC WIZO net will support are:

WIZO Beit Ha'Kerem Vocational High School, Jerusalem offers vocational training for young people who cant succeed in a normal high school. Students are taught hairdressing, office administration and cookery and receive official government certification upon completion of the course. Life skills and therapeutic counseling are also provided.

WIZO Nahalal Ometz is an exceptional educational programme offering support and instruction in effective learning skills for students working in small groups. Ometz includes intensive study days to promote learning and enhance overall success in writing exams.

Students Developing Business Initiatives in our centres is the name of a programme for young people with severe learning disabilities and poor social skills. It aims to help students acquire skills to prepare them for the world of work. Hands-on on training in cookery is given in a model kitchen, along with kitchen skills and teamwork. Workshops offer lessons in product design, food packaging, marketing and research and mathematics relevant to the project.
