bar/bat mitzvah campaign Each year WIZO sponsors Bar/Bat Mitzvah programmes for over 600 children. These children are often from single-parent and disadvantaged families. All programmes include educational projects and gifts for the children. WIZO helps improve the quality of their lives. Your contribution to our campaign is much more than a financial one. Help to bring Bar/Bat Mitzvah joy to WIZO children in Israel. This special simcha would be beyond the means of many Israeli families if it were not for WIZO ... Once we receive your donation you will be sent a certificate, a siddur, a photo and letter from a child in Israel who is the recipient of your donation. Our young celebrants here in the UK will be able to write to their Bar/Bat twin if he or she so wishes. All our WIZO twins live in the Afula area and without our help would not be able to participate in this joyous celebration.
